For over 55 years, Friends of  Valley Cities Jewish Community Center, more commonly known as “ The JCC,” has served the needs of children, teens, families, adults and senior adults.  VCJCC serves approximately 1,000 people on a weekly basis and over the years, it has become their home away from home.  Our Center is a hub for Jewish, Israeli, and neighboring community members.  Our center offers an early education program for children 2-5 and an after school child care program for school aged children 5-17.  We pick up at all local schools and provide homework help and enrichment activities.  We have many programs at our JCC which include senior classes, Israeli folk dancing, Jewish holidays programs, family camp and much more.

     

The Mission Statement of Valley Cities JCC is to perpetuate and build a
dynamic Jewish community by:

Promoting the interests and welfare of the Jewish community at a Center where all Jews are welcome;
                                                                                                                                    Furthering an appreciation and understanding of our shared Jewish heritage;
                                                                                                                                     Fostering personal growth of our members through cultural educational, social, recreational and civic activities;

Strengthening and enriching Jewish family life; and

Promoting an understanding with and contributing to the common good of the community at large.
